Welcome & how this works

Hi, I’m Pete — welcome 👋
I’ve spent nearly twenty years building brands and websites — for my own companies, and for the owners I work with — and I built this course to answer the question I hear most: “do I really have to hand thousands to an agency, wait two months, and end up with a site I can’t change a word of myself?” No. You can build it yourself, and it can be genuinely good.
This course takes you from a blank screen to a real, professional website that’s live on your own domain — your brand, your words, your photos — with an AI teammate called Claude Code doing the technical work. No designer, no agency, no code experience needed. If you can describe your business in plain English, you can build its website.
One thing worth knowing up front: I wrote the whole path — every instruction and every copy-paste prompt in it. But rather than re-record what brilliant creators have already taught better than I could, I hand-picked the clearest video for each step and dropped them right where you need them — every step, in order, in one place. Every video is by an independent creator and is credited with a link to their channel; go give them a follow.
Watch — hand-picked
The clearest walkthroughs of this step, from creators we rate. Each one’s credited — go give them a follow.

What you’ll walk away with
Not notes and not a template you rent. By the end you own a real website and the ability to change it whenever you like:
A clean, modern site
Fast, professional, and just as good on a phone as on a laptop.
Your own brand
Colors, fonts, and a logo that belong to your business — not a stock theme.
Words that sound like you
Page copy written from your real answers, not filler about passion and excellence.
Live on your own domain
yourbusiness.com, with secure HTTPS, published from your own accounts.
A working contact form
Real enquiries in your inbox, and your real photos on the page.
A repeatable update loop
Change anything yourself in minutes — the skill outlasts the build.
How this course works (this part is important)
This isn’t a normal course where you watch videos and take notes. You’re going to do the real thing, with Claude Code doing the technical work for you. The way it works:
- Module 0 (this one): set up Claude Code on your computer so it can build for you.
- Module 1: download a Build Kit and paste one prompt that teaches Claude the whole process.
- Every module after that: you copy one prompt from the lesson, paste it into Claude Code, and it does that stage — your brand, your pages and copy, the build, going live.
Each module produces something real — a document, a working site, a live URL — that the next module builds on. You just follow along, one copy-paste at a time. Here’s the whole journey on one page:
How long it takes: nine modules, 19 lessons, about four hours of reading — but this is a build, so budget for the doing as well. The module estimates in the sidebar add up to roughly nine hours of hands-on time, and most owners spread that over a couple of weekends or a run of evenings. Nothing expires, nothing is timed, and you can jump back to any lesson later when you want to change something.
What it costs
No surprises, no hidden fees. Three small costs, and you can see all of them before you start:
Building the site costs you one month of Claude Pro — about $20–25. Putting it online to look at it and share it with a friend is free.
Once it’s your real, public business website, hosting is $20 a month. The free hosting plan we’ll use to publish is for personal projects only, and a site that advertises a business isn’t one — so we tell you the real number now rather than let you find it out after launch. Add your domain and you’re at roughly $21 a month to run a professional website you own outright, on your own address, that you can change any word of yourself in minutes. That is still a very good deal. Let’s get set up.
A good website makes it easy for someone who already wants what you do to choose you — it can’t make people want it in the first place. That’s why Module 2 spends real time on who you serve and what you actually offer before a single page gets built. And this course builds a genuinely good small-business site: pages, brand, copy, contact form, your domain. If you need booking systems, memberships, or a custom application, that’s a different job — but everything you learn here still applies.
Feeling unsure? That’s normal — this path was designed for people who’ve never touched a terminal. Take it one lesson at a time and you’ll be fine.
