Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site is operated by Peter Stevenson LLC, doing business as Evolvv Strategies (“Evolvv,” “we,” or “us”), a consultancy based in Boulder, Colorado. This policy explains what we collect when you use evolvv.io, why, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email pete@evolvv.io and we’ll explain it in plain terms.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form — a strategy-session request, a Growth Audit, or the newsletter signup — we collect the details you choose to share. That’s typically your name, email address, business or website URL, phone number (if you provide one), and whatever you write in the message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data through our hosting and analytics providers — things like which pages were visited, general device and browser type, and approximate region (from your IP address). This includes a cookie and a random device ID set by Google Analytics, which we explain in full under Cookies and analytics below. We use this to understand what’s useful and keep the site fast and working. We do not build advertising profiles of you, and we do not track you across other websites.

How we use it

• To reply to you and have a real conversation about your business.
• To deliver what you asked for — a strategy session, a Growth Audit, or a resource.
• To send you the newsletter, but only if you opted in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the site.

We do not use your information for anything you didn’t ask for, and we don’t sell it. Ever.

When we share it

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do their job for us — with one exception we spell out under Cookies and analytics. Those include our website host and performance analytics (Vercel), website analytics (Google Analytics), email delivery and inbox (Resend and Google Workspace), and our content system (Sanity). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or the security of the site. We do not sell your personal data or share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We keep cookies to a minimum. We don’t set any of our own for advertising or profiling — the only cookie this site stores is the Google Analytics one described below. Here is every measurement tool running on this site, and exactly what each one does.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages get read, which outbound links and downloads get clicked, how far down a page people read, and roughly where visitors are in the world. To do that it stores a cookie and gives your browser a random ID number, so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. That ID isn’t your name and doesn’t tell us who you are, but it is tied to your device rather than being purely anonymous, so we’d rather say so plainly than call it anonymous when it isn’t.

We’ve turned off Google Signals, the setting that would let Google follow you across devices or hand us age, gender and interest categories about you — so we don’t receive any of that. We have no Google Ads account connected to this site, and we don’t use this data to build advertising profiles of you, retarget you, or sell it. In fairness we should also say what we don’t control: Google processes this data under its own terms, and as the account owner it also receives it for its own support and benchmarking purposes, in the aggregated form its standard settings allow.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Our website host counts page views and measures page-load speed without using cookies. It doesn’t keep a lasting identifier for you — just a temporary daily fingerprint that gets discarded, so it can count unique visits without following you over time.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit with Google’s official opt-out add-on (opens in a new tab), or block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Most ad and tracker blockers stop it too. Whatever you choose, the site will still work normally — nothing here is required to read or use it.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send for as long as we need it to answer you, deliver what you asked for, and keep reasonable business records — then no longer than necessary. If you ask us to delete it, we will.

Analytics data is on a fixed clock: Google Analytics is set to delete visitor and event data after 14 months, automatically.

Your choices and rights

You’re in control of your information. At any time you can:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
• Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the Colorado Privacy Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act — including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data, and to opt out of its sale (which we don’t do). To exercise any of these, just email pete@evolvv.io and we’ll take care of it.

Data security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, but we treat your data with care and keep our exposure small by only collecting what we need.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
