Welcome: what this course gives you

Hi, I’m Pete — welcome 👋

I run Meta ads for my own business and for the clients I work with, and I built this free course to answer the question I hear most from owners: “could Facebook and Instagram ads actually work for me — without handing $2,000 a month to an agency for work I can’t see into?” The answer is yes, and you can run them yourself.

This course takes you from never-having-run-an-ad to a real, working campaign for your business — one you planned, built, launched, and can read the numbers on. No marketing background. No jargon. If you can use online banking, you can do this.

One thing worth knowing up front: I wrote the whole path — every lesson and every template. But for the click-by-click screen work — setting up Ads Manager, installing the pixel, building the campaign — I’d rather show you than describe it, so I hand-picked the clearest video for each of those steps and dropped them right where you need them. Every video is by an independent creator and is credited with a link to their channel; go give them a follow.

What you’ll walk away with

This isn’t theory or a pile of tactics. By the end you’ll have a campaign you actually launched, plus the habits to keep it healthy:

A number before a dollar

Your allowable cost-per-lead, set from your own economics before you spend.

A real campaign

Built in Ads Manager, in accounts you own — not an agency's.

Compliant, human ads

An offer that sounds like a person and passes review the first time.

A checklist launch

A go-live you run off paper, not off your nerves.

A 30-minute weekly ritual

Five numbers, one decision, a line in the log.

Six tools you keep

The planner, calculators, briefs, and checklists you'll actually use.

How this course works

Six short modules, in the order you’d actually do the work — every step in one place, so you’re never hunting across ten tabs for the next piece. The written lessons carry the spine; the hand-picked videos sit inside the lesson they belong to and handle the screen-mechanics; and every module ends with a downloadable tool you keep:

  1. M1

    Foundations

What ads can and can't do, how the auction works, and the money math that keeps you safe.
  2. M2

    Plan

One campaign, on paper first — the offer, the audience, the message, the budget.
  3. M3

    Build

The landing page, the pixel, audiences, the ads — assembled piece by piece in Ads Manager.
  4. M4

    Launch

The pre-flight check, going live, and what to watch (and ignore) in the first 72 hours.
  5. M5

    Optimize

The five numbers that matter and the weekly ritual for reading them.
  6. M6

    Scale & what's next

When to push more budget, when not to, and the honest fork: run it yourself or hand it off.

Plan on about four hours of reading across 32 short lessons, plus the videos — spread over as many sittings as you like. Most owners do it in three or four evenings: one to get the money math straight, one to plan the campaign, one to build and launch it. Nothing here expires, and you can jump back to any lesson whenever you need it.

What it costs

The course is completely free — no gate, no upsell. The only money involved is the ad budget you choose to spend, and you’ll set that number deliberately in Module 2, with a cap you’re comfortable with. You decide the spend; the course just makes sure it’s spent well.

One honest promise before we start

Ads amplify what’s already there — they can’t rescue a weak offer or a broken intake. That’s exactly why we plan the offer and the follow-up before we spend, and why I’ll tell you plainly when ads aren’t your problem. Done right, a working campaign isn’t a slot machine — it’s a steady, readable line into your business that you control. Let’s go build one.

Key takeaways
  • You’ll finish with a real campaign you planned, built, launched, and can read — in accounts you own.
  • Written lessons carry the spine; hand-picked creator videos cover the click-by-click screen work.
  • The course is free; the only spend is an ad budget you set deliberately, with a cap you choose.
  • Ads amplify a good offer — they don’t fix a weak one, so we plan before we spend.
