Module 6 · Scale & What Comes Next

Run it yourself, or hand it off — an honest fork

8 min

Take stock of what just happened over these six modules. You can plan a campaign against real math instead of hope. You can build one — accounts, tracking, audiences, ads — in accounts you own. You can launch it on a checklist, run a weekly scorecard, and make kill-and-scale calls on rules you wrote before you were emotional. That’s not a participation trophy. It’s a working capability, and most business owners never acquire it.

So the last lesson isn’t a technique. It’s a decision — the same one you’d face with any function you’ve just learned to run: keep running it yourself, or put it in someone else’s hands. Both are legitimate. Here’s each path, honestly.

Run it yourself

  • A few hours a week
  • A monthly creative refresh
  • A quarter of patient iteration
  • Never write a check to anyone but Meta

Hand it off

  • Your hours are worth more in the practice
  • Someone builds the whole 80%, not just ads
  • In your accounts, fixed scope, trained hand-over
  • You can now audit any vendor

Path one: run it yourself

This is most readers, and it’s a good path. Let’s price it in the only currency that matters — your time. Run well, this operation costs you:

  • A few hours a week. The 30-minute scorecard, lead follow-through, and the occasional fix the diagnostic tree points to.
  • A creative refresh every month. New hooks from real client conversations, a fresh phone video, retiring what’s tired.
  • The patience to iterate for a quarter. The first campaign is tuition; the system that reliably turns ad dollars into booked calls is built over weeks of small, logged decisions.

The 90-Day Operating Calendar you downloaded in the first lesson of this module is this path’s companion — the whole operation on one page, one quarter at a time. And let’s say the quiet part plainly: if you run this well, you never need to hire anyone for it, and that was the point of the course. You know what a lead is allowed to cost, you own every account, and you can read your own numbers. Plenty of owners run exactly this operation for years and never write a check to anyone but Meta.

Path two: hand it off

Some owners will finish this course and conclude the opposite — not “I can’t do this,” because you now demonstrably can, but “this is real work, and my hours are worth more in the practice.” That’s not a failure of nerve; it’s the same delegation judgment you apply to bookkeeping and payroll. If that’s you, here’s what handing it off actually involves.

The ads are the visible 20% of the machine. The results live in the other 80% — the offer, the landing page, the speed-to-lead system, the follow-up sequence, the brand that makes a stranger trust the page their click lands on. You’ve touched all of it in this course; done-for-you means someone builds and runs all of it, as one connected thing, not just the ad campaigns on top.

That’s the part Evolvv builds — and since this course has spent six modules teaching you to be skeptical of how this industry usually works, you should apply that skepticism to us too. Here’s the structure, all of it checkable in the contract: everything gets built in your accounts — your ad account, your pixel, your domain, your systems (you know from Module 1’s accounts lesson exactly why that matters, and why a vendor’s reluctance on this point is a tell; the course taught you the test, and we expect to pass it). Pricing is fixed-scope, agreed before work starts — no open-ended retainer with a vague deliverable. And the engagement ends with a scheduled hand-over stage where you and your team are trained to run what was built — the same material as this course, applied to your actual business — after which anything ongoing is month-to-month, cancel anytime. Pete built and sold a $3.7M firm; this is an operator’s playbook, not an agency’s.

Either way, the next step is the same

Whether you run it yourself or hand it off, the move from here is identical: find out where your growth actually leaks. The free Growth Audit is our diagnostic — the same first stage we run for paying clients — and it will tell you what to fix first, whichever pair of hands does the fixing. If you’re staying DIY, it’s a second set of eyes on the funnel you just built. If you’re considering handing it off, it’s what a proposal would be based on anyway — and you keep the findings either way.

No catch to look for
The audit is free, the course never required it, and there’s no deadline attached. Take it this week or bookmark it for the day your scorecard raises a question you can’t answer alone.

End of the course — you run ads now

Six modules ago, Meta ads were a slot machine you didn’t trust. Now there’s a campaign plan with your math on it, a real campaign in accounts you own, a launch checklist with every box ticked, a scorecard with your gates on it, and a calendar for the quarter ahead. Whatever you decide about whose hands run it, you’ll never again have to take anyone’s word — including ours — for whether marketing is working. You can read the numbers yourself. That was the whole idea. Go run your campaign.
